CHRIS MIDDLETON
My mission is to populate the Kingdom of Heaven by spreading the good news and equipping God's people to step into all He has called them to be.
Chris and his wife Jen first met at a community college in Aurora, CO, and were married shortly after in 1996. They later moved to Fort Collins, where they both earned their Equine Science degrees at Colorado State University. It was during their time in Fort Collins, while attending a small group, that Chris felt the call to serve God through pastoral ministry.
Blessed with two amazing sons, Jacob and Lucas, Chris and Jen have seen their boys grow and pursue their own paths. Lucas is currently a student in cyber security at Southwest Baptist, and Jacob, who recently graduated from Southwest, is preparing for the mission field with his wife, Katelyn.
A graduate of Gateway Seminary, Chris is passionate about sharing the gospel and teaching God’s Word verse by verse.
After seven years of pastoring in Missouri, Chris is excited to return to Cornerstone and be back in Northern Colorado, ready to join with like-minded believers to reach a new generation for God's glory. He looks forward to collaborating with others in this mission to love people and share Jesus.
When he’s not with the church, Chris enjoys spending time with Jen, watching the Colorado Avalanche, or enjoying the outdoors—whether it's hiking, biking, climbing, or the occasional horseback ride in the mountains.
