Sunday School
Adults
Launched in 2010, the Foundations Class is an on-going study in Christian theology that addresses all areas of the Christian faith. In it, you'll explore the major themes of the Christian faith in an environment that fosters participation and open discussion. Such grand topics include the Trinity, the Deity of Christ, Justification by Faith Alone, Divine Predestination, Eschatology (the study of last things), and much more.
We negotiate these weighty matters through the careful examination of God's word in a setting that combines lecture with open and lively discussion.
All are welcome, but be advised: the material is not for the faint of heart! Having said that, there are both high school students and great grandparents in regular attendance. So regardless of your age, if you take your faith seriously and have a desire to seek the truth, you will feel right at home.
The Foundations Class (Adult Sunday School) is starting a new course: New Testament Survey.
Course Title: New Testament Survey

Synopsis: A journey through the New Testament is a journey through the most significant century in history. In many ways, it started in surprising fashion. As the New Testament era began, discouragement filled the air. The people of God were people with a history— great leaders like Moses and David, numerous examples of God’s provision, and the words of bold prophets filling them with hope. However, prophetic voices had fallen silent. Oppression and emptiness ruled. Then, something changed. At first, it was a lone voice crying in the wilderness. Soon One followed who spoke like no other man, accompanied by mighty acts of God and words of life. Followers of this Savior rose up, filled with new power from God’s Spirit and a zeal to carry God’s message of life to the world. Though faced with challenges on every side, a movement emerged; the world was changed. It was as if God’s promises suddenly found fulfillment and sprang into action. The movement continues. The New Testament captures this extraordinary journey of God at work. Even more, the New Testament provides both the foundation and invitation for us to continue this adventure with Him.

Youth
Youth grades 6th through 12th meet in the main level of the church just outside the sanctuary at 9am. Study is designed to apply Biblical principles to the challenges facing our youth today. We study how scripture is just as relevant for life today as it has been for centuries past. We also participate in thought provoking games such as “Stump the Pastor”.

Children
Currently, there is no teaching time for children at 9am. There is a Children's Church during the sermon that will be downstairs with the exception of the first Sunday in which the children will stay with their families during the service. We learn many Biblical truths through the study of Bible stories and discussions designed to equip children with the necessary tools to grow in their Christian faith.
